Jindal Society of International Law
Institutional identity
Society identity design

Education & international law
A sense of place. A wider perspective.
Jindal Society of International Law
The project

The Jindal Society of International Law needed a mark with institutional gravitas and a specific sense of belonging. The idea begins with the Jindal Global Law School building: its criss-cross facade becomes part of the emblem’s structure, connecting the society’s field of study to its physical home.

The thinking
Give a student-led society an identity of its own.
01 / Direction
Look to the building.
The campus lattice provides a geometric rhythm that can be translated into a compact emblem. It gives the identity an identifiable source beyond familiar legal symbols. Architecture becomes a narrative element, rather than a decorative background.
02 / Design
Give tradition a clear structure.
Lady Justice anchors the composition with scales, a dome and a faceted frame. The society’s full name forms the circular lockup, identifying the organisation precisely. The mark brings several references into one deliberate hierarchy.
03 / In use
Design for formal and everyday use.
Navy and reversed treatments establish dependable contrast across light and dark surfaces. A stationery concept tests the emblem on correspondence and presentation materials. The same identity can lead a formal communication or sit quietly beside the content of an event.

The whole picture
An institutional mark with a local origin.
The emblem combines the society’s legal purpose with a recognisable architectural reference. Original lockups and the campus inspiration are paired with a presentation mockup to show the identity in use.
The campus photograph is an architectural reference. Stationery is a generated application concept of the original emblem.
